Statements of Faith
god
We Believe there is one God existing in three separate manifestations. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God created the heavens and the earth and set all of life in motion.
holy spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the very Spirit and nature of God. The Holy Spirit leads us into all righteousness, it speaks from the heart of God, convicts us of sin. The Holy Spirit indwells in the life of the believer who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and regenerates them causing them to live a holy life.
baptism
Water Baptism is the immersion of the believer symbolizing their death to sin and their new life in Christ.
jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who walked this earth just as we walked. He was completely God and completely man. He was born of the virgin Mary and died for all humanity putting to death the penalty of sin forever.
bible
The Bible is infallible and inerrant. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
salvation
Salvation from sin and hell can only be found in Christ alone. When the believer believes in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord then they are saved. We are saved by grace alone, not by our works. Salvation is a gift from God.
trinity
There is only ONE God who exists in three distinct manifestations. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person of the trinity has distinct roles and they coexist perfectly.
the church
The church isn't a building. The church is a collection of people who have received the free gift of salvation. We believe that every believer should be a part of a body meeting regularly to worship and serve the Lord together.
